Former board member and retired pharmacist Bob Blair has filed papers with the San Luis Obispo County Recorder’s office to run for an open seat on the Nipomo Community Service District’s board. Anyone who follows Nipomo politics will recognize Bob Blair’s name. He was a colorful board member who continues to have strong opinions about the local community. His trademark for several years while running for re-election to the board was his hand-painted signs. It is unclear whether that tradition will continue, as he lost his last bid to retain his seat using the same stragety. More to come and the candidate field develops.
