Jesse Hill, an attorney from Nipomo has filed paperwork with the San Luis Obispo County Recorder as a candidate for the Nipomo Community Services District (NCSD). Jesse is a former Chair of the Nipomo Community Advisory Council and has been a community activist in Nipomo for several years. There were no new candidate filings this week for the three open seats on the NCSD board. The three seats up for re-election this year include Cliff Trotter, Larry Vierheilig, and Judith Wirsing. Of the three incumbents, only Ms. Wirsing has not yet filed papers with the San Luis Obispo County Recorder’s office. The Papa Murphy’s Pizza store in Nipomo at the Von’s Center has closed. I just walked by it yesterday and noticed the signs. There are workers there this morning as I write this apparentlytaking out some of the equipement. Does anyone have any idea why they closed? And, better yet, what is going to go into their spot? Anyone?
