This Saturday 10/14/06 marks the 23rd annual Nipomo October Festival, held at the Nipomo Regional Park. The festial begins at 10:00 a.m. and continues throughout the day until approximately 3:00 p.m. The festival is free and everyone is welcome. Traditionally the weather has been great and should be this year again. I have read there will be a pumpkin carving contest, as well as a fun run, great food booths, and lots of fun for the entire family. The festival is sponsored annually by the Nipomo Chamber of Commerce. Below are some photos of October Festivals in years gone by. Double click on the photos for full size
