Nipomo Community Services District Agenda 11/8/06
The NCSD’s agenda is posted on its website here. Of particular interest are administrative items E-3 and E-4 regarding the activation of park powers for the NCSD. I support that activation. The more local power we can give the local NCSD Board, the better off we as a community will be in Nipomo. Santa Maria Now Largest City In Santa Barbara County
The Santa Maria Times is reporting that Santa Maria City is now the largest City in Santa Barbara County. Our neighbor to the south continues to grow by leaps and bounds. If it were not for the Santa Maria River (and the San Luis Obispo County line), it is quite likely that Nipomo would soon become a suburb of Santa Maria. Continue reading
